My Life In Singapore

Yesterday night we go to Causeway Point food court. The food court is very famous among malays because almost all the food there is halal. The food court is in front of the Cathay Cineplex. When we having our food, we saw Ramli Sarip come to the food court with maybe his grandchild.He searching for a food and i notice almost everybody didn't notice him or maybe just ignored his appearance. I don't know whether Singaporian know who is Ramli Sarip..hehe...Only one of the couple in front of us wave hand at him. I also wave hand and smile at him and he reply back. My question is, is Ramli Sarip Singaporian or what ?? If he is not Singaporian, what did he do in Woodlands ? :D

31st May is a public holiday for Singapore. So i decided to take a leave for one day on the 1st of June. That is the first time i go back to Malaysia (selangor and pahang to be precised) since i worked here. Actually what i want to talk is about Singapore action to prevent terrorism. Singapore really aware and alert about terrorism. Maybe this is because they surrounded by muslim country (malaysia and indonesia). Singapore Custom and Checkpoint Authority very concern about Malaysian that want to enter Singapore. So they put scanner in both causeway and Tuas checkpoint. They also put Gurkha soldier there. Compare to malaysia checkpoint, we can just show our passport and without checking our luggage. One more thing is, when i arrive from JB to Kranji MRT station, there's always a security officer watching passenger that comes to the station. Last Friday is a Good Friday holiday for Singapore. So me and my housemate decided to go to Johor Bahru to deposit money to our Maybank account. It was my first time crossing the causeway between two country. It was so easy to go either from JB to Singapore or Singapore to JB and it was cheap too. I regret not going to Singapore when i study at UTM before. From Singapore, you have to take a bus either from Kranji, Woodlands, Marsiling or Jurong East. I prefer to take a bus in Kranji. You can use SBS (Singapore Bus Services) number 160 or 170. SMRT (Singapore Mass Rapid Transit) number 950 or you can take malaysian bus company Causeway Link. I take SBS bus and we have to pay only $1.20 for one way. It was so cheap. If using Malaysia bus i don't know, maybe RM 1.20. At the Immigration & Checkpoint Authority Singapore, we have to go through the immigration checkup and show our passport. But in Malaysia side, just go through. Yesterday we go to the Simlim square once again. This time, the mission is to buy MP3 player..hahaha....there is a lot of MP3 player including the popular Ipod. My target is not the Ipod or the local brand or the "cap ayam" brand. My target is Creative Neeon 2 2GB. Why i choose this player compare to Ipod nano. first is the price. we survey the whole building and found price $160, $179, $189 compare to Ipod around $248 for 2GB. so i choose the chepest one. Creative Zen Neeon 2 have more features than ipod. It can play MP3, MP4, AVI video, FM Radio, Inline recording, Microphone and picture compare to ipod that doesn't have FM Radio. The weight is only 50gram. Sound quality not bad but Ipod is better actually. Screen display also not so good. After that, we cross along Bugis street. Today is the 20th day i work in Singapore. But this week is the most boring week. At home, i stay alone. My housemate outstation to Malaysia for a week. The other housemate stay at her uncle house. so, only me in that house...huh.... What i do at home ?? haha...thank god Akademi Fantasia has start. So, download the concert or the diary at office and bring back home and watch. After that, sleep lor...hahaha. Here no Astro maaa..but i really miss Astro....miss EPL.... At office, actually i have work to do. I have to complete testing the application. But..no mood lah...it is already installed. what i have to do is to understand the process flow and the configuration of the system...soooo boring....On Wednesday, there should be a training with the new company partner from Australia. So, maybe that day will be the busiest day for the whole week. It will be interesting because i can learn new application and also using Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server and ASP.net.
